Who is Certified Athlete?
Certified Athlete is a unique web-based network of athletes, schools, sports organizations, recruiters, and training academies. Each athlete on the Certified Athlete Recruiting Network has a Certification posted by a Partner Academy to verify skill/talent for the athlete. These Certifications provide a verified source of information for recruiting organizations including National Teams, colleges, and professional teams. Through quality partnerships, Certified Athlete has built the finest recruiting solution available, providing verified skill evaluations, statistics, and action video clips.

What is a Certification?
An Athlete Certification is a series of performance and sport-specific skill evaluations that are performed by Certified Athlete’s Partner Academies (CAPA). The brand and logo of the Partner Academy that performed the evaluation is placed next to the results of the evaluation in the player’s profile page. Therefore, the athlete’s performance is “Certified” by the 3rd party independent evaluator, the Partner Academy.

I’m an athlete, how do I become a member of Certified Athlete?
You need to get a certification (evaluation) performed by one of our Partner Academies. As part of the Certification you receive a one-year subscription to Certified Athlete. As soon as your results are posted by the Partner Academy you will receive an email with your username and password that provides access to your secure web account. In your account you will be able to take control of your recruiting process by updating your contact profile and athletic statistics history. In addition, you can get coach and teacher recommendations and have statistics verified by coaches. Finally, you are able to email college recruiters direct links to your athlete profile to actively increase your chances of being noticed.

What is a Certified Athlete Partner Academy (CAPA)?
A Partner Academy is a training or testing organization that has extensive experience and credibility in the sport(s) in which they are offering Athlete Certifications. They have entered into an agreement with Certified Athlete to become a Certified Athlete Partner Academy.

How does my Academy become a Certified Athlete Partner Academy?
The first step is to email info@certifiedathlete.com or call 913.905.5872 and discuss with us if you meet the qualifications of a Partner Academy in your respective sports. Next, we enter into an agreement that outlines the terms of the relationship. Then you will be able to offer Athlete Certifications and increase the power of your business.

What is a USA Softball Certified Training Academy?
A USA Softball Certified Training Academy (USASCTA) is a Certified Athlete Partner Academy that has been approved by USA Softball to perform USA Softball Certifications. Certified Athlete and USA Softball joined forces to provide a comprehensive college recruiting program and an internal tracking program for USA Softball National Team Selection. The USA Softball Certifications were developed by Mike Candrea, the USA Sofball Women’s Head Coach and Arizona’s Head Coach.

What is a virtual showcase?
The Virtual Showcase is an athlete evaluation that is administered, collected, and verified by a Certified Athlete Partner Academy and posted to the Certified Athlete College Recruiting Network. Certified Athlete has built an extensive network of athletes, recruiters, training academies, and other sport organizations to provide the most extensive and comprehensive college recruiting solution available today.

What is a virtual showcase tour?
The Virtual Showcase Tour is a collection of numerous individual Virtual Showcase events (exposure events) each run independently of each other, but collectively marketed as one large nationwide event in order to gain the maximum exposure from college recruiters across the country. The Virtual Showcase Tour allows each academy and their athletes to directly benefit from each other academy and their athletes by collectively being a part of a larger national event with much broader reach than any individual local event.
