Certified
Athlete is committed to safegaurding our users privacy. This privacy policy
describes how user information is collected, used, and shared. By visiting
CertifiedAhtlete.com, you are accepting the practices described in this
Privacy Notice.
Information
Collection
Registration Information
To set up your Certified Athlete account, you will need to provide certain
contact information, such as name, phone #, address, and email. This information
will allow us to contact you about athletic recruiting opportunities and
provide the information for recruiters and scouts to contact you about
recruiting.
Physical
and Sports Information
Athletes are not required to enter physical and sports information, but
we strongly encourage our member athletes to do so. This data is viewed
and searched by athletic recruiters to determine which athletes to recruit.
Transaction
Information
Every transaction that you initiate or that is initiated for your account
is recorded. You are able to view your transactions by accessing the "My
Account" section in your Certified Athlete account.
Computer
Information
We collect certain technical information from your computer each time
you request a page during a visit to the Certified Athlete site. This
information is collected from your computer's web browser, and may include
your current IP address, type of operating system, and type of web browser
software. See the section below on "Use of Cookies," which discusses how
we obtain this information.
Collection
of Information from Children
Certified Athlete does not knowingly collect, either online or offline,
personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
The Certified Athlete service is designed and offered to athletes that
are 14 and over.

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose
personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith
belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial
proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.
Certified
Athlete Partner Academies
If you are registered or receive a service related to Certified Athlete
from a Certified Athlete Partner Academy that academy has access to some
of your personal information. By purchasing the service you are instructing
Certified Athlete and the partner academy to use the required information
necessary to fulfill that service. An academy will never receive credit
card information from Certified Athlete.
Certified
Athlete Partner Schools
If you are registered or associate yourself with a particular Certified
Athlete Partner School that school has access to some of your personal
information. This information is provided to the school to provide a more
complete picture of your athletic ability and achievements. By associating
yourself with a school you are instructing Certified Athlete to allow
that school access to provide information about you. From your Certified
Athlete account you have the ability to disassociate yourself from a school
or delete any information that they provide. A school will never receive
credit card information from Certified Athlete.
Certified
Athlete Registered Recruiters
Recruiters have the ability to view and search athlete information for
the purpose of determining whom to recruit. Athletes subscribing to the
Certified Athlete system are representing that they want this information
to be provided to the recruiters. An athlete has the capabilities from
their personal account of managing what information is seen by recruiters.
A recruiter will never receive credit card information from Certified
Athlete.
Security
Our site has security measures in place to help protect against the loss,
misuse, and alteration of the data under our control. When our site is
accessed using Netscape Navigator, or Microsoft Internet Explorer versions
4.0 or higher, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects information
using both server authentication and data encryption to help ensure that
data is safe, secure, and available only to you. All usernames, passwords,
and credit card information are always sent using Secure Socket Layer
technology. Certified Athlete also implements an advanced security method
based on dynamic data and session identifications, and hosts the site
in a secure server environment. Finally, Certified Athlete provides unique
user names and passwords that must be entered each time a customer logs
on. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy,
and ensure the appropriate use of data.
Opt-Out
Policy
Certified Athlete offers its visitors and customers a means to choose
how we may use information provided. If, at any time after registering
for information or ordering Services, you change your mind about receiving
information from us or about sharing your information with third parties,
send us a request specifying your new choice. Simply send your request
to feedback@certifiedathlete.com.
What About

are alphanumeric identifiers that CertifiedAthlete.com transfers to
your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our
systems to recognize your browser and to provide increased security
for your Certified Athlete personal accounts.

altogether. However, in order to log in to your personal Certified
Athlete account you will need to have cookies enabled as using temporary
cookies is part of our security system.

over privacy is subject to this Notice and our Conditions
of Use, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes,
